Window
Privacy Policy
Last updated July 3, 2026
Window is designed to be a quiet, private experience. We built it around a simple idea: open a window to another place on Earth without accounts, feeds, or tracking. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means for your data.
Information we collect
We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location. We do not track your identity across sessions or devices.
Preferences you set inside the app — such as your favorite windows or sound settings — are stored locally on your device only. They never leave your device and are not sent to us.
Live camera streams
Window plays publicly available live streams from third parties (for example, YouTube Live, public traffic and beach cameras, and the International Space Station feed). When a stream loads, your device connects to those providers directly or through our stream proxy, which may receive standard request information such as your IP address and user agent for the sole purpose of delivering the video. We do not associate this information with any identity and we do not retain it for analytics.
Analytics and advertising
No advertising. No third-party analytics or tracking pixels. No behavioral profiling. No selling of data — because there is nothing to sell.
Cookies
Window does not use cookies for tracking. Standard browser storage (localStorage) is used only to remember your in-app preferences on your device.
Children
Window is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children or adults alike.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of Window after an update means you accept the revised policy.
